All that's going wrong in U.P.
It's been quiet a while and India still can't stop chattering about the election of the saffron-robed head of the Gorakhnath Temple, Yogi Adityanath, as Chief Minister of India's biggest state. And why should people stop talking about it when he is giving ample controversial issues to the nation; one of which that has severely curbed the basic freedom of young couples and youth of U.P. Yes it's about this anti romeo squad. A squad that has been formed in all the police stations that will pick up "romeos" (a supposedly subtle term devised by U.P. Government for men harrasing, eve teasing women) who are loitering around such places like colleges and coffee shops. And this move is supposed to serve two big motives- firstly, prevent eve teasing and harassment of girls and secondly reclaim public spaces for women.
