Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans

It was just this point in my life when I was getting too cynical about a lot of stuff. I was getting too hopeless about everything unable to understand what is this life all about. I was kind of living too mechanically, just passing each day with same monotonous schedule. Seeing my seniors struggling for jobs got me all the more apprehensive in my final year. The futility of everyday monotonous schedule had got me too depressed. I had a horrible feeling of living a life even less than that of a mediocre. It was then that I got my hands on this book "An Unsuitable Boy", an autobiography by Karan Johar. This book has not only helped me get a better hold on life but also made me full of thoughts, the thoughts worth being penned down and preserved.

There is a very famous saying: "LIFE IS WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU WHILE YOU'RE BUSY MAKING OTHER PLANS". My belief in this saying has just been strengthened. I strongly believe there is some Universal Energy driving all the events in our life. Call this energy Allah, Bhagwan, Christ, Destiny, Karma or any other supernatural name it's all a part of this powerful Energy. The Energy that is watching out for us. The Energy that continues to destroy lives and the same Energy that works to set things right. 

This Energy has everything planned for us. One day you will be what this Energy has decided for you. But today you need to put in the required input. You have to be bold and fearless and just follow what your heart says to you. Do not be scared about experimenting, in taking up things that people will tell you is not worth it. Just follow your passion and work with tiny plans. Put in your soul completely in all that you do, dedicate all your energy and time towards its accompalishment. 

During the process their will be distractions, failures, heartbreaks and your plans might fail miserably but do not give up. If your plan doesn't work follow a back up plan, go for an alternate but remember keep going. You never know if your back up plan turns out to be your life. You never know if this Energy wants to replace your entire good plan by it's own best plan for you. Possible that this Energy sees you worthy of bigger achievements, but before that it will destroy all that you have only to divert you to an entire new path. You just have to keep going regardlessly with greater zeal this time to live a life probably bigger than what you imagined and simultaneously have faith on this Energy, it has it all planned. 

The more you work the faster the forces will align themselves in line. The bigger the plans thought for you, more the hard work it will require to bring those ultra-powerful forces to work in favour of you. The bigger the life planned for you proportionately it will require you to face more challenges, more failures, more risks, more rejections and many more mistakes to be committed on your part. All the failures, mistakes, heartbreaks and all the lows will go on to be an integral part in making you.

Successful people are more than just being blessed. They are the ones who have worked constantly to drive the ultra-powerful forces of wealth, fame and success to get aligned in their favour. Failures never daunted them. They just knew they need to keep going and leave the rest to the Energy watching out for them over there. 

Work tirelessly and fearlessly towards your passion, rest all will fall in place automatically and when the most unexpected things cross your path, you will then realise this is what you were carved out for and all the journey till now has been about reaching over here. Things will then start making sense.

 Till you reach that point, keep going no matter what. Challenge your failures and tell them I will keep working till you no longer exist in my life. Tell your path you will keep moving regardless of the rains till you find the shelter built by the "Energy" for you.
